analytics
Whenever I check my google analytics I am excited by the traffic I get. Then I think to myself....what if most of the hits are from me? I think they are, I often check my blog for comments even if I'm not signed in. I'll check it up to 5 times in one day. I live for comments, I'm a sucker for comments, don't hold it against me.

you can get email alerts to tell you if you have received comments. also, you can filter your IP address out of your analytics so you can make sure that you are only getting "outside" traffic reported and not your own.
whaaaa. how do you do that? I've tried looking in preferences but I've had no luck. I think I need you to walk me through it in a gmail.
Here is a comment for you...I have some photos to send you, but they are nowhere near as cool as Alpha's. You missed out on the Ladyhawke show. It was really good. It did last until about 2 a.m. however, so it is probably a good thing you didn't go. It was good to see you!
In that case, I think this would be a good time to say that I have you in my google reader...

I get excited about all my hits every time I check my analytics, then I realize they're all from you.
ok. i am writing an email to mikey about camera junk. when i am done with that i will show you how to adjust your analytics to make it show you what you want.
