dance magic

i wish so much that i could dance like the kids in stomp the yard. they use a beat that i can't find. usually every dance is just a variation on a count, like the variety within each measure of a song, but contains the same number of counts. triple step, double step, single step, 4/4 time, 3/4 time, 6 count, 8 count, etc. but what the kids do in that movie, krumping, battling, stepping, whatever it is, is amazing. and i cannot find the count to even begin to try and copy it. this morning i practiced in the mirror just moving my shoulders up and down like they do, and i am still trying to figure it out! i also spent part of the morning watching justin timberlake videos to find more moves to try. i love how smooth he is.
dear anyone who has sweet moves, i am physically stagnant. teach me?
love

Ask Carter Nelson. I have yet to see a dance move that he can't do.

well recently I lost my groove but in the past, a favorite hobby of mine was to try and “no pattern dance.” This is where you break away from all that sameness and never do a move twice in a row, hence the no pattern part. You might love it.
